bye bye nakuru!

The conferences were awesome! Thank you guys so much for praying. We can’t tell you all that we’ve seen God do these last two weeks, but our prayer was that He would use us however He wants, and that’s exactly what He’s done! We are so privileged to even speak the Name of this God!

Tomorrow, we leave nakuru and return to Nairobi. We will hang out there and have one last meal with our Nairobi team whom we’ve grown to love so much. Then Saturday morning it’s off to Rwanda. We don’t yet know the internet conditions in Rwanda, but we’ll do everything in our power to get plugged in so we can communicate with you guys.

when we get back, i think we’ll be able to show you some stuff since we just completed our 19th video tape at 90 mins each. Also we’ve taken over 1000 pics!

We want to wish all the women a safe, fun, and uplifting trip to three-mountain retreat. We will be praying for you!

Again, thank you guys for all your prayers and thanx for responding to us on the website. Ron and I get so excited when we see a new comment has been posted. It’s great for us to feel a connection to home.

Please pray for our time in Rwanda. We don’t know all the details of our trip (don’t even know where we’ll be sleeping yet), but we trust that God is sovereign and has all of that under control. we're 2/3 done with this mission, and we’re tired, but we believe God has a reason for us to go to Rwanda, so we pray confidently and boldly for the harvest! Please join us in that prayer.

We love you guys, and we hope to be able to communicate with you this weekend from Rwanda.

ps. matt, thanx for the update. Let me know how the mavs are doing too. Have they recovered from their stunning game-one loss?

Hey Guys-

I am glad to here that this part of your trip has been so successful. We can hardly wait to hear all the details. I have been praying for quality rest and for you to be able to step aside and let God come through. I will continue to pray for this as you start the next leg of your journey. It sounds like that has been happening 100%. We will continue to pray, ya'll continue to do God's work and HE will be glorified. Stay safe. If we don't get to hear from you for the next few days we will trust him for your safety.

His,
Cara

Sweet, guys! Things sound awesome. Know that we are praying just as hard on your travel days as any other. I know those days can be very useful. Pics and video sound awesome. Can't wait. And the Mavs did pick up the win last night to tie the series at 1-1, Clark. So maybe you can get some sleep tonight! Looking forward to watching some playoffs with you in a couple of weeks. I love you guys!

And what's with all the capital letters and punctuation? Who knew that being in a third world country would have such an effect on you?!?

I still don't know that I believe it's really Clark doing the typing but the alternative is Ron and I really don't see him blogging. We love you guys and can't wait to see you live and in person again.

Clark it is so encouraging to read your updates on your trip. Know that we pray daily that God will continue to show you how big He really is. Also know that He will give you the strength that you need to finish what He has started. I wish I could be there with you. What a gift you have been given in your obedience. Enjoy your time alone with Him. This is so great that you guys are in AFRICA!!!!!

Love Ya,

ok, so let me clear up something right now. it costs 3.5 shillings for each minute i'm on here. so instead of composing my posts while on the internet, i put it together offline in microsoft word, and ron's computer isn't set to not capitalize, and i'm too tired to change every sentence. it does kill me though - you guys know that. so please read it with forgiving eyes, and act like nothing is capitalized.

chris ewing would probably say that this is the sovereignty of God who has predestined that i would rise out of my legalism and finally conform to the image of His Son.
